Air horns are really loud
When you want an air horn, you should make sure you know these things first. An air horn requires professional installation. Amateurs should not attempt installation, because you can ruin your train horn with one mis-matched wire. Also, professionals know where to place the solenoid and compressor so you won’t damage it during use. You also need to figure out how much you want to spend. Kits can cost as little as $99 for the cheap pieces and upwards of $800 for high quality chrome, reinforced horns that have a professional air compressor. I’d say stick to the middle road with a horn kit around $400.Anyone who loves loud things needs to buy some truck air horns. These truck air horns sound like the real thing – loud trucks. When you install them on your own truck, you will replicate the sound of semi-trucks. What’s great about these air horns, are their easy installation. Anyone with a few hours can install them, just hook up the wires up to your electric harness and off you go! One thing you need to remember about these things is that they are very loud, 150+ dBa. That means you can really hurt your own ear drums if you are careless.
