It will be vital that you have great organizational skills in order to fulfill the job. You will not only need to schedule things, but also have to match people up to a service tech and follow up on the job throughout the day. The key will be that you are always in the know about what is going on.
There will always be times when a job is running late or has to be delayed due to a part having to be ordered. As the service advisor, it will be up to you to keep both the customer and the service tech in the know about everything that is going on. You will also have to ensure that the client is satisfied with the service that is being provided.
