The fourth auction of personalised number plates is planned for the three days of the fifth,sixth and seventh of August 2009. The venue is the RBS Williams F1 Conference Centre, Wantage, Oxfordshire. There will be one thousand five hundred and eighty six registration numbers offered for sale, each with a reserve price if not reached will result in the number being withdrawn. It will be possible to bid by telephone, post or on line via the website although it is recommended to attend in person if at all possible. In addition to savouring the atmosphere and excitement of a live auction it has been arranged that the Williams Formula One Collection will be open for viewing by attendees. The collection spans over thirty years of Williams competition in the pinnacle of world motorsport. Every one of the championship winning cars is on display as well as many other pieces of memorabilia. The tour is rarely available to the general public and represents a unique opportunity for potential bidders attending the auction. There is also a gift shop at the tour so even if you do not get the registration number you have to come bid on you could take home an unusual Formula One memento.
