With a ride that’s so smooth and an experience that is so exhilarating, you will suddenly understand just how unique a Bimmer is.

The history behind the BMW company is as long as it is colorful. The company was originally in the business of manufacturing motors for airplanes. However, the Treaty of Versailles, signed after the First World War, forced BMW to halt their production and shut their doors. In response, they started manufacturing motorcycles, then vehicles.

You probably are able to recognize the logo of a BMW, one of it’s most identifiable traits. This logo actually has a pretty interesting tale of its own. Said to look like a white plane propeller moving through the blue sky, this circle, cut into four sections, has almost always graced the hoods of BMW’s. However, this interpretation is refuted by many as simply being a convenient explanation.

Continuing on with the history, BMW came out with their first automobile in 1928, the Dixi. While the Dixi wasn’t an original BMW design, it still harbored in a new age for the manufacture of vehicles under the company of BMW. Soon after, new cars were making their way out of the doors of the company, and more and more people were falling in love with what they had to offer.

The first original design for BMW was the AM4. This model was released in 1932, and it effectively made BMW a popular household name. Soon, another model, the 328 rolled out from the company’s doors. This vehicle was revolutionary in its field, as it was a winning race car as well as a popular selection for street car.

BMW soon faced financial trouble after the second World War and soon after, just before the year 1960, a meeting was held to decide whether or not to continue with the company. If it hadn’t have been for those who still had faith in the company, BMW wouldn’t be here today. More and more people were in the market to purchase and automobile, and the company took advantage of this fact.

In the year 1992, BMW put a brand new plant on American soil. Located in Spartanburg, South Carolina, this plant helped supply the loyal customer base in America with quality BMW’s. Many different designs and models were released from this manufacturing plant to places just like your local BMW Agoura, making it easy for people in the United States and other parts of the world to get these luxury vehicles.

As you probably noticed, the story behind BMW is long and eventful. However, through all these years, BMW has come out on top as the leader in luxury vehicles, and this reputation is the reason why their loyal customers continue to multiply. With the most innovative technologies in designs used for these cars from Orange County BMW Dealership, they have been recognized as one of the elite in the car business. And once you visit your local BMW car dealer Agoura, you will soon see why.

Looking Up The Best Los Angeles BMW Car Dealer

Are you looking for a beautiful car that will get you noticed? When it comes to high-end cars, Los Angeles BMW gets the job done. You will never hear anyone say the words “ordinary” and “BMW” in the same sentence. You can always rely on this brand to keep up with the times and deliver perfection. This is not a biased view; its merely facts adding up over time.

The BMW company has been in existence for nearly a century. Starting out as the manufacturer of airplane engines, they did very well. However, they were banned from producing and selling these engines as part of a treaty known as the Versailles Armistice Agreement. BMW designs and produces several different product lines, including owning and manufacturing additional lines outside of the BMW name.

When BMW was forced to stop making aircraft engines, they turned their sights towards transportation of a different type. They started producing motorcycles in 1923. These bikes are very well known and well loved and have been since the inception of this branch of the company. While it was happy creating useful transportation with motorbikes, the company was looking for ways to expand their horizons. In 1928 they designed the first BMW automobile, which went into production the next year.

In 1928, the legend began when they began to manufacture something bigger and better than the motorcycles they were becoming popular for. BMW started selling motor vehicles for passengers in 1929. Since then, BMW has been making rally cars, formula cars, touring cars and sports cars.

The BMW logo is alternating blue and white in a circle – this is said to be a reflection of the deep blue sky with a white plane propeller spinning by. Whatever the inspiration, this has remained the BMW logo. Los Angeles BMWs are seen everywhere. It’s always easy to tell one of these fine German cars from another, even if it’s by the logo alone. Chances are, however, you can tell a BMW profile from a mile away.

Things haven’t always been easy for BMW Auto Group. There have been definite peaks and valleys in their financial history. In an attempt to continue profits, BMW bought the rights to the Italian vehicle, Isetta. This was a prosperous but short-lived endeavor for the company. Another was the purchase of the Rover group in 1992. BMW owned and produced the Range Rover and Land Rover lines until 2000 when they broke away and sold the Rover lines. They did, however, keep the rights to produce and sell the Mini. They launched a newer, more North American version of the Mini in 2001 and it has been creating a buzz ever since.

If it’s luxury SUV you are searching for, you are in luck there, too. Every make and model in the BMW line of products speaks volumes about the company’s legacy. They continue to be some of the top selling vehicles in the world.

When only the best will do, Los Angeles BMW Car Dealership is the right one for you. You will have high-end luxury combined with the performance and handling that is only possible in a BMW.
