Checking Out The Many Different Models Of Black Rims

You know that black cheap tires definitely make a statement when put on a car. But what type of “black” should you choose? Some of the different “shades” available include glossy black, flat black, and hyper black – just to name a few. Here is a brief informational summary of the three different shades, some ideas of what type of car each goes with, and some very general pricing information.

Glossy Black – This is a color that is lustrous and very shiny. This shade of black goes well on any car with a decent paint job, and is perfect for the person who wants to make his car a little bit more “showy”. But if you are someone who wants to “blend in with the crowd”, then this probably is not for you.

You could put this type of rim on one of the tiny little hybrids – not only to make it “sporty”, but to give it that cute toy car look. These would be especially brilliant, when paired up with a bright yellow or orange paint job. You could also jazz up that two-door sedan or sub-compact car, as well.

But remember, these rims aren’t cheap. Brand new – and depending on what size and brand you’re after – they can cost you anywhere from $500 for a hybrid or compact car, all the way up to $2,500 per set for the really expensive automobile.

Flat Black – This shade is without a hint of any other color, at all. It’s more of a monotone shade, that’s just “black”. However, it does very well when put on government-type cars and jeeps, to give them that authoritative look.

This shade of rim is often seen on those compact and sub-compact family cars that have by-passed the family, and have gone straight to the race track! Paired with an equally flat black or other dark color paint job, they give a car that serious “out to win” look that is desired by the driver. This rim type is not quite as costly as the glossy, but is still up there in price. You can replicate that “race day” look on your own compact or sub-compact vehicle with new rims – starting at around four hundred dollars per set for the stock kind, and upwards from there, depending on size and brand.

Hyper Black – These are rims that are actually a chrome color in which a distant cousin of the black shade is made to gleam through. The end result is a look that’s subtle and understated – yet expensive-looking, as well. Cars that look really nice with these rims on are those such as the mini “gangster-type” type car. New, they start out around two hundred dollar per set, and go up from there.

When you’re looking for black custom rims, don’t forget to include the online auction houses in your search. Sometimes you can find sets of wheels and rims in whatever shade you want for about seven hundred per set, as they include tires. And if that’s a bargain that’s still too much for you, then you may be able to find the same thing in the “gently” used category, for hundreds of dollars less than this.

Ways Of Finding The Lowest Prices on a Used Car

It’s many years since low prices on a used car have been so much in demand as today, a demand most of us attributes to the economical circumstances the financial crisis has created. Although you can’t expect to get this year’s models at price like this, you can expect a safe car that are functioning normally.

Here are three sources of very cheap used cars.

Government Car Auctions

Government car auctions are probably the best places to look right now if you want dirt cheap vehicles. Although you might not see it the first time you enter an auction, you can be pretty sure it won’t take long time before you find a decent car for an amazingly low price.

Car Auction Web Sites

Auction web sites are very easy and convenient to access and you can find the lowest prices on a used car from your home. The most famous and biggest auction site on the net is eBay but there are also numerous of sites that have specialized in auctioning various items, for example car auction sites. The top auto auction sites are updated continuously with the newest offers.

Go to eBay and type ‘cars’ plus the amount you want to spend – let’s say $600 or less – in the eBay search bar and you will get a list of vehicles according to the specification in your search query. You can go to another auction site by entering ‘cars’ plus for example ‘for less than $600′ in a search engine.

Classified Ads

Penny Saver, Craigslist and other classifieds is another great source of dirt cheap automobiles. Online classifieds are great to start with because it’s simple and convenient and doesn’t cost you a nickel. As soon as you find a cheap used car that you want, contact the owner and make an offer. Await their answer. Buying dirt cheap vehicles from people in a desperate need for cash means you have to be on the alert. It’s not uncommon that the owner is removing certain parts from the vehicle that is difficult for the buyer to see, especially when it is purchased online. The best way to protect yourself against such frauds is to have a sales form containing all the appropriate terms of contract and signed by the seller and yourself.

Don’t forget the local newspaper and their classified section; you can find many cheap used cars there. As already mentioned you should get a contract or bill of sale printable form that both you and the seller sign. Follow the rules which are the same whether you purchase online or off line with the lowest prices on a used car there is.
